In 2021, Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School introduced Flourish 2031, a 10 year strategic plan grounded in our motto, Nil nisi optimum (“Nothing but our best”).
Today, Flourish 2031 sets a clear and ambitious direction for the School’s next chapter.
Bold Future is a key pillar of this plan, focused on ensuring STS continues to grow with purpose, preparing students for what lies ahead while building on the strengths that have long defined our community.

Increase opportunities for exceptional students to attend STS through affordable tuition, financial assistance, and a healthy endowment. Exceptional students come from all backgrounds. Our partnership with the STS Foundation focuses on endowment growth that creates sustainable financial assistance, making sure talented students can access an STS education regardless of their family's financial circumstances. This work strengthens our community by bringing together diverse perspectives and experiences.
Operational Excellence
Pursue a commitment to excellence in all aspects of the school's operations: academics, co-curricular programs, well-being, business functions, operational efficiencies, safety and risk management, social enterprise, and environmental sustainability.
