After seven years as STS Head of School—and having been part of a variety of school communities across multiple institutions—I’ve come to understand that what we call “the STS connection” isn’t rooted in nostalgia or institutional pride. It’s something far more substantial and rare: an enduring sense of belonging that transcends generations, linking past to present to future in a continuous chain of shared purpose.
